Jack Fruit Fritters Recipe

Ingredients :

6 piece

300 g

2 cups

jack fruit flesh - discard the seeds and mash

flour

water

pinch of salt

oil for deep frying

Method :
  1. Mix together flour, salt and water until smooth.
  2. Add in the jack fruit flesh a mix thoroughly.
  3. Heat oil and deep fry the fritters using a teaspoon to drop the fritters into the oil.
  4. Fry until golden.
  5. Serve hot with tea or for breakfast.

Serves 6 - 8

Banana leaves are said to impart a deliciously delicate flavor to the fool cooked in them.

They are used for both savory and sweet dishes, usually when steaming, and grilling is involved.
