Banana Honey Yogurt Ice Recipes

Ingredients :

4 ripe bananas, chopped roughly

15ml lemon juice

30ml clear honey

250g Greek style yoghurt

2.5ml ground cinnamon

crisp biscuits, flaked hazelnuts, and banana slices, to serve

Method :

Place the bananas in a food processor or blender with the lemon juice, honey, yoghurt, and cinnamon. Process until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture into a freezer container and freeze until almost solid. Spoon back into the food processor and process again until smooth. Return to the freezer until firm. Allow to soften at room temperature for 15 minutes, then serve in scoops, with crisp biscuits, flaked hazelnuts and bananas slices.

To make Banana Maple Yoghurt Ice, use maple syrup in place of the clear honey. Check that the syrup is 100% pure, cheaper substitutes have little of the real flavor.
