Stewed Hasma with Lily Bulbs and Red Dates Recipes
Ingredients :
13g dried
lily bulbs
4 red
dates
13g hasma
75g rock
sugar
4 cups of
water
Method :
Soak
dried lily bulbs until they become tender and wash. Wash red dates
and remove pits.
Bring
water with rock sugar to the boil to form into syrup.
Soak
hasma in water for 5 hours or overnight. Remove membrane and wash.
Scald in boiling water with spring onion and ginger. Put hasma into
a stewing pot. Then add lily bulbs, red dates and syrup. Cover with
lid. Simmer for 2 1/2 hours. Serve.
