Cake Decoration - Chocolate Petals

Ingredients :

 

foil

cooking chocolate

Method :
  1. Cut squares of foil into several pieces of 3 sizes: 10cm, 7cm, and 5cm square.
  2. Melt chocolate over hot water until just melted.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Hold a foil square in the palm of one hand.
  5. With a palette knife, spoon or paintbrush, thinly spread melted chocolate onto foil.
  6. While chocolate is still soft, lift your fingers under the foil to slightly bend petal into natural shape.
  7. Stand until set.
  8. Repeat with remaining chocolate.
  9. Carefully peel foil away from chocolate.
