Method :

Heat the oven to 200oC (400oF),
Gas 6.

Grease 2-3 large baking trays.

Put the flour and salt into a bowl and
rub in the margarine until the mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.

Pour on the milk and water and mix
quickly to form a firm dough.

Knead on a lightly floured surface
until smooth, then roll to about 3 mm in thick.

Cut into 8 cm in squares and transfer
to the baking trays.

Prick all over with a fork to prevent
them rising.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the
crisp breads just begin to color at the edges.

Do not let them brown.

Allow to cool slightly on the baking
trays before transferring to wire racks.
Makes 20 crisp breads
